New blasting bay at boat park

A new purpose built blasting bay is now fully operational at La Collette Boat Park.
Following consultation with the Jersey Marine Traders Federation, Jersey Marinas commissioned the new building in December 2011 following a tender to local construction firms.
The new facility allows sandblasting to be conducted under controlled conditions thus protecting other boats that may be parked close by. The project cost £15,000 which was paid for from the Jersey Marinas trading fund.
