Sea Dream

At 104 metres long, The Sea Dream Yacht Club is not considered to be a big cruise ship, however with a maximum of 110 passengers and 95 crew she boasts 5 star luxury.

From May to October, Sea Dream sails in Northern Europe, The Baltic, Norwegian Fjords and the Mediterranean moving to the waters of the Caribbean from November to April which includes specially designed voyages to the Amazon River.

Steaming from Caen in France, Sea Dream paid a visit to the shores of Jersey on Wednesday 2 August anchoring in St Aubin's Bay. It was a glorious day with temperatures soaring to 25 degrees plus and with a flat mirror like sea, most of the passengers were eager to hit the shops in King Street as soon as they possibly could after arrival at 7am. The gentle conditions enticed nearly all on to the liberty boats for short transfer journey alighting at the Albert Pier.

It wasn't long before Jersey Coastguard's pilot, Captain Rick Masterman was heading out to complete pilotage duties aboard Sea Dream as she fired up her engines for departure en route to St Malo at 1.30pm. All the passengers had been reunited aboard as she started her journey due west to St Brelade's Bay before turning south for the French coast.
